We had a wonderful nature walk today! We trudged through the snowy path, looked for signs of winter and had some play time in the field. We also continued to practice sorting in different ways. Students sorted toys and nature objects by color, size, shape and type.  Tomorrow is our Parent Teacher Conferences. Please email me if you need to book a conference and are unable to on your myCBE account. I am happy to help you set up a conference time. Parent Teacher Conferences are ONLINE this time, due to how many sick students and staff there has been over the last few weeks.  There is no school for kids on Friday due to Parent Teacher Conferences.  Tomorrow is library day! Happy Tuesday!  Today we continued learning about our new letter of the week, Mm! So far, we have learned Aa, Ss, Tt, Ii, and Mm. Please help your child review these letters and the sounds they make at home. They can practice printing them, finding them on street signs when you go for a walk, finding them in the words on the screen while searching for their TV show, etc. :) Tomorrow is our Nature Walk Wednesday. Please dress your child for the weather! Library day was postponed until Thursday, November 24, this week. Please bring your book back on Wednesday night so your child can exchange their book. Parent Teacher Conferences are on Thursday evening and Friday during the day. You can book your conference time on your myCBE account. If you are unable to do this, send me an email and I will gladly help you book one! Have an awesome evening! 

Happy Friday! Today we started learning about sorting by shape and color, we went to Music and played 'Boomwhackers' for the first time, and were able to enjoy a few minutes on the playground! Here are some photos from rollerblading yesterday.   and our sorting today. 

We had an awesome first day of inline skating! The students worked so hard. Today we practiced putting on our gear and skating around using just one rollerblade. We will move on to two rollerblades on our next skating day, Thursday.  Tomorrow is Nature Walk Wednesday. Please dress your child for the weather. We will be outside for about 20 minutes.  See you tomorrow!💛

I'm sorry I have not been posting on the blog. We have been so busy at school this week, I completely forgot! Inline Skating starts on Monday. Thank you to those who have returned their form and paid their fees online already.  Remembrance Day is tomorrow. There will be no school for kids.  Have a wonderful weekend! See you Monday!  ❤️

 Happy Friday! ❄️ Today we continued learning about the Zones of Regulation, we did some zones of regulation art, and we went to play in the snow for the first time! We will be providing poppies for each student next week. Donations for the poppies are welcomed and will be given to Canadian Veterans.  Next week is a short week as the school is closed for all on Friday, November 11 to commemorate Remembrance Day.  Pleases return the Alien Incline Acknowledgment of Risk forms by Wednesday, November 9th to ensure your child is able to participate. The cost is $17.00 and can be paid online through your MYCBEaccount.  Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather each day!!  Have a great weekend!

  We had another great day in Kindergarten! Today we learned about the poppy and began to talk about Remembrance Day. We drew, cut out and painted poppies. We played a math game and had centres.  Please make sure your child is dressing for the weather! It is very snowy outside and we want to make sure they are all bundled up and staying safe and warm.  See you tomorrow! 

Happy November 1! ❄️ We are back on our "letter of the week" routine. We started letter "Ss" today. We wrote in our journals and  learned a new alphabet rap for "S". We had music and started learning our song for our winter concert, which will be in late December. More information to come soon!  Please ensure your child is dressing for the weather!
