Switzer's Kinders

1 more day until Winter Break! Today we painted reindeer, played centres, went to the gym with Mrs. Hogan's K class and played on the scooters, and played a pattern game.  Tomorrow we will celebrate our last day of school by wearing pajamas to school. Come to school wearing your coziest pajamas and bring a stuffy if you want! Your child can bring a fun snack for themselves to eat while we watch a Christmas show.  See you tomorrow! Stay warm! ❤️

 Hi Room 2! ❄️ We have 3 days left of school before Winter Break!  On Thursday, we will celebrate our last day of school by wearing pajamas to school. Come to school wearing your coziest pajamas and bring a stuffy if you want! Your child can bring a fun snack for themselves to eat while we watch a Christmas show.  Today we practiced printing our new letter of the week, Bb. We learned our alphabet rap for Bb. We played centres, including two new centres: Letters to Santa and Gingerbread Making centre.  We are still collecting food for the Food Drive! Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow is our Winter Concert! We will have a dress rehearsal at 9:00 am and our performance is at 7:00 pm at night. Please make sure your child is on time to school in the morning, and arrives at the school no later than 6:45 pm at night. Please wear your "Who" outfit to the nighttime show!  We are still collecting food for the food bank drive. Please bring your non-perishable donations to school.  Friday is Winter Sweater day! Wear a fun winter sweater to school.  See you tomorrow! 

 Hi Room 2! We had a great day in Kindergarten! Today we continued learning about patterns by making paper chains. We went to the gym and practiced performing our song on the stage.  We are still collecting food for the food bank! If you have food to donate, please send them to our class as soon as possible.  Our Winter Concert is on Thursday, December 15, at 7:00 pm. Please arrive between 6:30-6:45 pm so your child can get ready for the concert.  On Friday, we are wearing festive sweaters to school for a Spirit Day!  See you tomorrow! ❤️

 Hi Room 2! I have been so busy preparing for the concert, I completely forgot to do the blog over the last two weeks.  Updates for Room 2:  We are currently doing a food drive at Woodlands School to raise food for the Food Bank. If you can donate some non-perishable food items to the drive, please send them with your child over the next week.  Our Winter Concert is coming up on December 15, at 7:00 pm. Many students have been asking what they should wear for the concert. We are asking students to come dress in a "Who"-like outfit.  Concert Dress Code:  No black or grey  No logos Wear things that are bright, colourful, fun, patterned, sparkly, festive or wacky! Students can wear fun hats, toques, colourful clothing, festive pyjama pants, fancy dresses, whatever they think would make a great "Who" outfit.
